The “Great Stone” Monument Donated by China National Materials Group and Fellow Enterprises to the China-Belarus Industrial Park Is Formally Completed

On August 1, 2017, when Xiao Yaqing, Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission visited the China-Belarus Industrial Park, Chairman Song Zhiping proposed that the China National Materials Group and a few other enterprises donate a “Great Stone” monument to the industrial park. On October 11, 2018, the “Great Stone” donated by China National Materials Group and fellow enterprises was formally dedicated to the China-Belarus Industrial Park. A dedication ceremony was held at the main entrance on the Park No.1 Road. Yaroshenko, Director of the Intergovernmental Coordination Council of the park as well as CEO Hu Zheng and General Manager Li Haixin of the Industrial Park Development Company attended the ceremony.

The “Great Stone”, 8 meters tall, 5 meters wide and 3 meters wide, was co-produced by Beijing Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd., a company under the China National Materials Group and artists from Beijing Baogui Stone-Art Science and Technology Co. Ltd, made of artificial landscape inorganic new materials and created on site by means of artificial landscaping, artificial stone-making and state-of-art construction technologies.


According to Yaroshenko, the “Great Stone” monument at the gate of the China-Belarus Industrial Park not only embodies the hope and endeavors of the Chinese people for a better future, but also symbolizes the solid and steadfast friendship of China and Belarus. He wished the continued, successful and healthy growth of the China-Belarus Industrial Park.


Li Haixin pointed out that the “GREAT STONE” China-Belarus Industrial Park has always wanted to have a beautiful and monumental stone, and its position at the main entrance of the park further testifies their commitment to the sound development of the China-Belarus Industrial Park. He thanked the design, creation and painstaking construction of the stone by artists and artisans from the China National Materials Group, and hoped this “Great Stone” can mark a beginning of a better and higher stage of development for the park.


The lead designer of the monument as well as leaders and staff of the Intergovernmental Coordination Council and the Industrial Park Development Company attended the ceremony.
